Place Value Thinglinks

Since we are coming to the end of our place value unit, we made Thinglink projects on place value as a review. Thinglink is an app on the iPads that we used to make a project that allows us to attach several aspects such as text, videos and pictures. Today, my homeroom made Thinglinks on large numbers (switch class will also make these). They used big numbers and then expressed them in different ways such as piicture form, written form, and expanded notation. Some of them even used the secret code!

Here are the final products. Please put move your mouse over the pictures so that the “tags” appear. They are little red and white circles that show the tags of pictures and text. Then, click on the tags to see what they came up with! We love Thinglinks and will be using them all year! If you like them, please post comments!

(some of the pictures are sideways, but we’ll figure it out with more practice!)
