Teaching is my biggest passion as I’ve been teaching for 13 years. I’ve taught kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades and am now a gifted and talented teacher servicing students from Kinder to 5th grade!

I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX (GO SPURS GO!) and attended Austin College north of Dallas for my bachelor degree in psychology and masters degree in elementary education. Math, technology, and computer coding are my passions, so you will see a lot of them in my classroom! Your children will learn how to code, make green screen videos and stop motion videos, and create online digital portfolios! You’ll be amazed at what your children will do!

I’m married to my wonderful husband Josh who actually proposed with my 3rd graders in my classroom. We have two dogs, Ozzie and Hanna. We enjoy watching sports and movies, traveling, and visiting with friends and family. I used to work at Sea World in the education department. Besides teaching, the best job was sleeping with the penguins and sharks while educating children on marine life and conservation. I’m an avid hockey fan (Go Red Wings!) and used to have hockey season tickets for the SA Rampage when I lived in San Antonio.
